Dr Kwok Chun Lin graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2010, and was awarded First Class Honors in Ophthalmology and Second Class Honors in Pediatrics during his studies. He subsequently rotated in specialties: Breast Surgery, Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, and Cardiology while working as an intern doctor at the Waterford Regional Hospital, Ireland.

In 2012, Dr Kwok completed a Master’s degree in Public Health (concentrating on Occupational and Environmental Health) at the Harvard School of Public Health, Massachusetts, United States where he developed an interest in primary care.

Prior to joining Singapore Medical Group, he has worked for 5 years in the private sector in Singapore. His practice focused on looking after GP patients in the outpatient/community setting with emphasis on screening and disease prevention. He also gave talks on health promotion for various groups such as Land Transport Authority, Norinchukin Bank and Credit Suisse etc. During this period, he acquired the Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine, successfully completed the Singapore Hyperbaric and Underwater Medicine Course, and became a Ministry of Manpower Designated Workplace Doctor for All Hazards and Compressed Air Works.

Dr Kwok is a fully registered medical practitioner both in Singapore and in the Republic of Ireland. He is certified by Educational Commission For Foreign Medical Graduates of the United States having completed the US Medical Licensing Exam Steps 1 & 2. In addition, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University.

Dr Kwok was involved in research. His most recent publication was an article in 2016 on Neurotoxicity of Chronic Alcohol Abuse on the Central Nervous System (Asia Pacific Journal of Medical Toxicology) which can be accessed here: http://apjmt.mums.ac.ir/article_7670.html

In his spare time, Dr Kwok enjoys tinkering with computers. In the past, he created 2 medically related iPhone apps for users to download. He is fluent in Mandarin and English.
